About Us

I took a computer class a couple years ago. The final for that class was to make a music video. This is what sparked my interest in videos. That next summer, the camp I worked at made some videos and my interest in videos increased more. I then found some friends and we recorded a couple of videos.

How did we get the name Backyard Studio? Well when we showed the videos at camp and during one of them, a van drove by in the background. Someone said "You can tell that was a backyard production." I really liked that and it fit perfectly since most of our videos were recorded in a backyard. So we called ourselves Backyard Studios. We then dropped the 's' on studios a while ago. One reason was the web site and the other is the fact that we are only one studio, not multiple.
